Format for pathology exam

 

Basically we only have 27 jars

5 of them will come out in the exam

Each with 3 questions

(Microscopic slide will not be asked)

 

Questions

Usually will start with this (wait for it)... “Identify”

The answer should include both organ and lesion

Eg: splenic infarction

 

The next 2 questions are random

But you can stress on these points:

1.       2 diagnostic points

2.       Causes

3.       Reason for some of the observation, eg:

·         why does the lesion appear pale/reddish

·         why does it appear bigger

·         why, why, why...???

 

The revision slides will be available starting from Tuesday, insya Allah

 

‘Having high marks... happiness last for a week

One more thing,

We will have oral written exam together with the final exam, as replacement for the assignment.
