Here is the format for our physiology practical exam:
Just like our Biochemistry practical exam, our physiology practicals will consist of two parts:
1. Demonstration
Here there will be 5 to 10 stations(unsure) , in each station, there will be a question about the following experiments;
a. Blood chart
b. Sedimentation rate
c. Heart block
d. ECG
e. Heart Sound
f. Hemoglobin estimation
about 3 minutes is allocated for each station
2. Experiment
After the stations, we will be required to do an experiment. The experiment will be done with a partner. The experiment will be from one of these ONLY:
a. Taking blood pressure
b. Bleeding time
c. Blood grouping
d. Coagulation time
After you are done with the experiment, a professor will come and ask questions regarding the experiment.
All the experiments that will be asked in the exam will be revised during your practical lessons this week.
Good Luck!
